SPAK has charged Jim Begeja, who is accused of money laundering in connection with the privatization of the Partizani complex.
The latter appeared today near the premises of the court, where the charge was also communicated to him. Begeja is one of the inheritors of the land.
Earlier, the builder Fatmir Bektashi was also charged.
Bektashi is accused by SPAK of active corruption and money laundering, and therefore he has been charged with the same charges.
The "Homeplan" company was founded in 2008 with the founder and sole partner Fatmir Bektashin. Until 2018, Bektashi was the sole owner of the company, but in this year, a 2014 contract was registered at the National Business Center, in which Bektashi appears to have sold 60% of the shares.
The sales contract, filed at the National Business Center, shows that Malltezi had bought 35% of the company's shares against the nominal value of 35,000 ALL.
This seems to have led the prosecution to conclude that the benefit of millions of euros in dividends from this company by Malltez constitutes an illegal benefit, while the scheme of selling shares with a nominal value constitutes the mechanism used to hide the transaction for the payment of the benefit, i.e. the mechanism of cleaning the products of the criminal offense.
The day before, on September 11, Sali Berisha appeared at SPAK, where he was charged with passive corruption. Likewise, the young son-in-law Jamarbër Malltezi was charged by SPAK for active corruption and money laundering.
