After finishing their speeches in front of the Prime Minister's Office, the protesters began their nightly march through the streets of Tirana.
This time, thousands of citizens have headed towards the General Directorate of the State Police, in another symbolic act of protest, which comes as a sign of revolt against the arrests made during clashes between protesters and police in the July 2 protest in front of the Parliament.
Throughout the march, citizens continued to chant "Rama go away", "Rama resign", "Your end has come", "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison", "Revolution" and "The homeland is ours", while the column of protesters traversed the main streets of the capital.
The march to the Police Headquarters comes a day after the Court ruled to release all protesters arrested following last week's tensions. Some of them were given the security measure "compulsory appearance", while two protesters were placed under "house arrest".
However, the organizers have stated that responsibility for the police intervention does not end with the release of the protesters and have demanded an investigation into the manner in which the July 2 protest was managed.
Today's march is part of the 37th day of protest, which continues every evening with rallies and movements in various parts of the capital, while the organizers have announced that the protest will continue in the coming days.
