The chairman of the Agrarian Environmentalist Party (PAA), Agron Duka, says that there cannot be a union of the opposition only with Lulzim Basha and Sali Berisha.
In an interview for "Tirana Live" on ABC News, Duka said that if the union will take place around these persons, it will serve more to divide than to unite. The duke added that the creation of the opposition federation is the only way to unify the opposition and defeat the majority in the elections.
According to him, Gazment Bardhi is trying to unite the Democratic Party, although there is still no result.
"According to me and those who announced this initiative, I do not believe that there can be another way for the opposition. If everyone will see their own political path separated from the common goal, in order to have political rotation, I see it as unfeasible to achieve a majority, or to have a good result in the parliamentary elections. Political parties think of it as something positive. What is very important, rather this idea is liked by the opposition base. The more united, the greater the chance to win.

Gaz Bardhi is a man, a deputy, he is trying to do his duty and he is trying to unite, he is trying to conceive, to unite the Democratic Party despite the fact that this work did not have a result.
The two main elements are Basha and Berisha. In my opinion, I don't see that it is possible to unite around any of these people. If we try, they do not serve the union, but they serve the division. Therefore we have proposed a federation. It is important to create a department that has coordination with internationals. Individually, there is no resistance, there is no one who thinks that union is worse than division", he emphasized.
