Dritan Nano, who is accused of being the organizer of the attack on lawyer Sokol Mêngjesi, has denied that he was the orderer, as he has stated that he has nothing to do with the incident.
"I did not organize the attack on the lawyer. I have nothing to do with the incident," he said.
The police have sufficient evidence that this person was implicated in this event.
Nano was in a court case for a property of the Botanical Garden in Tirana, together with other family members, while it is learned that he had lost the trial. Meanwhile, the lawyer Mêngjesi was the legal representative of one of the family members. Also, Nano had close and social ties with the suspected perpetrators of the attack on the lawyer of former Prime Minister Berisha.
We remind you that the accused for involvement in the event are; the organizer of the attack: Dritan Nano (arrested), Dorian Alia, who turned himself in, while Elton Kasaj, Romario Tabaku and Drivald Alia are being sought.
