Young people and teenagers are widely using a product instead of tobacco.
This product contains nicotine and is in the form of chewing gum, which means that neither the parent nor the teacher in the classroom can detect it, as it does not smell.
In front of the cameras, young people say that they have not consumed it, but in the meantime it is sold at every point where there are also new alternative tobacco products.
"It is in the form of chewing gum and this means that it is kept in the lesson and neither the teacher nor the parent understands it.
In developed countries, this product is used by those who have smoked for many years and want to quit. It absolutely cannot be used by young people under the age of 18" , said Roland Shuperka, tobacco expert.
But what causes the use of this product by teenagers and young adults?
"Nicotine addiction begins, cancer of the exophagus ", says the expert.
Shuperka calls on the law enforcement authorities to stop the introduction of new alternative tobacco products that contain nicotine as they are harming young people who start out of curiosity to hide from their parents who are tobacco users./TCH
