Journalist Igli Çelmeta has shown the dynamics of the serious incident at the Court of Appeals, where judge Astrit Kalaja lost his life in the line of duty.
Çelmeta says that after entering armed, through a metal detector that did not work at the entrance to the court, the perpetrator Elvis Shkëmbi followed the court session until the end.
While everything was ending without tension, at the moment the decision was being made, he pulled out his gun and shot Judge Kalaja with three bullets and then the father and son who were parties to the proceedings.
Elvis then surrendered the murder weapon and stood in the court yard where he was arrested by police without resistance.
" From the testimony given by the guard, it is clear that the metal detector has not worked not only today but for days, the scanner that checks all people has not worked. It has not worked, allowing Elvis Shkëmbi to enter armed. At 2:00 PM, Elvis Shkëmbi was with his uncle Gjon Shkëmbi. The session was taking place without tension until the moment of the decision. At this moment, Elvis shot 3 times at the judge and then at two people who were parties to the process. He then surrendered the weapon and stood in the court yard, where he was arrested ," Çelmeta said on A2 CNN.
