Today, the Tirana court has postponed the hearing for the former KLA fighter, Dritan Goxhaj, regarding the request for a change of measure.
The reason was the absence of the representative of the prosecution, Ylli Pjeternikaj, while the next session is scheduled to be held on September 12.
After this decision, Goxhaj's lawyer spoke to the media and said that two countries do not know what to do with a citizen and a third one is introduced that wants to kidnap him and not extradite him.
He adds that they want to make Goxhaj a victim, to appease those who are against the interests of our country.
"We are at a moment when two countries do not know what to do with a citizen and a third one enters, which wants to kidnap and not extradite a person.
They don't know what to do with Dritan. Someone has said that in order to calm Europe, we will sacrifice the Albanian people and lands. This is also happening with Dritan, to appease those who have been against the interests of our country. The decision was taken by a Bulgarian judge, who works at the Tribunal in The Hague.
In the Albanian court, things are moving towards reality, because at first you think they were dealing with a criminal. I think that the Albanian court is moving towards the real decision.
In the Appeal, we asked not to accept the request for extradition and we asked for the removal of all security measures, because there is no criminal offense. This request was surprisingly upheld," said the lawyer, among other things.
