Engineer Azmer Dulevič spoke about the explosion in Lushnje, as he said that such events can be prevented because they are substances that have certain risks and require qualified people.
He further said that the technical rule was not respected and the event occurred from the explosion with the canister, rejecting the suspicions about the contact with the medium voltage.
"Such events can be prevented because they are substances that have certain dangers and give qualified people. Because then such events occur that bring fatality. The first is not allowed that the oxygen cylinder with acetylene should not be closer than 3 meters. They have been very close and chained in an artisanal way.
These cylinders must be placed in special cages and it does not make sense to lift them with a crane at a height, because they accumulate on the ground and are conveyed by pipes. Here, the technical rule was not respected and the event occurred from the explosion of the canister. There was no contact with the medium voltage," said the engineer in an interview with Oranews.
