With ironic banners, accusations of corruption and calls for resignation, protesters on the 15th day of the rally in front of the Prime Minister's Office expressed their dissatisfaction with the government and the entire political class in the country.
The civic protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office has entered its 15th day, as participants continue to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and a change in the political class in the country.
Before the march began on the main streets of Tirana, citizens gave speeches and unfurled banners with strong messages against the government and the country's main political figures.
Among the banners that caught attention was one with the slogan “Rama in prison, Berisha in prison”, while other protesters demanded political accountability and punishment for corruption. Another banner read : “The people want justice, not impunity”, while a message in English emphasized: “Wherever there is power, greed and money, there is corruption”.
There was no shortage of ironic banners. One of them featured political figures dressed in swimsuits under the inscription "Ganda", while others raised concerns about immigration, education and the lack of prospects for young people.
A group of young people displayed banners with the message "14 years old... on the construction site or in school?", raising questions about the future of children and social challenges in the country. While another banner read: "Parents at work at the university, the state is taking us to the airport," referring to the phenomenon of immigration.
During the rally, protesters repeatedly chanted "Rama go away", "Rama resign", "Resign, but take Berisha with you" and "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison".
"Men do not remain silent when their country needs a voice," was another message from the protesters.
After the speeches, citizens began the traditional march on the main streets of the capital, continuing the daily protest for two weeks in front of the Prime Minister's Office building.
