Spring has temporarily taken on a wintery appearance in the north of the country, where snowfall has returned to the mountainous areas of Kukës.
After a significant drop in temperatures and rainfall, snow has covered altitudes above 1,000 meters, turning villages such as Turaj, Breki, Shishtavec, Novosej, Borje, Shkinak and Buzmadhe white.
So far, no problems have been reported in traffic or in the lives of residents.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation, while weather conditions remain unstable.
