Journalist Artan Hoxha reacted after the Washington Federal Court sentenced former FBI official Charles McGonigal to 28 months in prison.
Hoxha ironically writes that he is "unsatisfied" with Washington judges and that he should have been brought to SPAK.
" In our country, for a crate of fish, the deputy minister of order was sentenced as much as McGonigall, imagine with $225,000 cash, we would have thrown the keys into the sea for life, " the journalist wrote.
" The Federal Court of Washington sentenced former FBI official Charles McGonigal to 2 years and 4 months (28 months) in prison, "for serious breach of public trust", related to the 225 thousand dollars he received from the Albanian-American Agron Nezaj and the non-declaration of contacts with Albanian officials, including Prime Minister Edi Rama.
A strong deal was made by Qerratai, the chief counterintelligence agent of the New York FBI

Charles McGonigal, is one of the highest-ranking FBI agents ever convicted of criminal charges. Charles McGonigal's February 16, 2024, sentence will be added to the 50-month prison sentence he received separately in New York last year for conspiring with Russian oligarch Deripaska to be removed from the US sanctions list.
