Before the general elections of 2025, precisely at the moment when the parties were getting ready with their proposals for the next changes of the electoral reform, one of the most discussed points for a long time, especially at this stage, is the lists of candidates.
The barometer has asked citizens about what they think is the best version of the lists for MPs.
To the question "is it better to have open lists where you vote for the party and the candidate or closed lists where you vote only for the party and that decides the candidates".
The majority, in a significant percentage of 75.8%, think that open lists are the best option compared to closed lists which go to 15.6% as the citizens' choice.
