Analyst Andi Bushati was invited to the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, where he spoke about the resolution approved by the Assembly of Albania, which condemns the attack in the north of Kosovo.
Bushati said that the resolution approved by agreement between the majority and the opposition is a positive news, since the Parliament was not divided on an important issue, but the compromise reached, giving up directly blaming Serbia and using the resolution of the Parliament of Kosovo to to indirectly condemn him, he considered it "ridiculous".
"The resolution in the final version is somewhat correct. But to get here it is interesting to see the process, how it was achieved. We had two sides who fought hard for a point. DP and the opposition demanded that the resolution condemn the criminal attack by Serbia. The SP had another draft resolution that sought to condemn the criminal attack organized by no one knows who. So the socialists refused to point the finger at Serbia. The rhetoric of the opposition was, we cannot be behind Kosovo, because Kosovo has pointed the finger at Serbia.
This is where the "Chinese" compromise was reached, as you say, that is, in the resolution of the Parliament of Albania, not to explicitly condemn Serbia as the organizer, a trick was found and in the first article it was said that we agree with Kosovo, that Kosovo condemns the attack of Serbia. So, in a way, these Renaissance people, who don't want to spoil Vučić's fun, were also pleased, the opposition was also pleased because they found an alibi, referring to Kosovo, which has pointed the finger at Serbia.
It is good news that the Parliament found a consensus and did not split on the issue of Kosovo, but the trick that was used is a bit ridiculous", declared Bushati.
Meanwhile, Bushati considers Prime Minister Rama's angry speech "Alla Fidel Castro" in terms of duration and underlines three key moments of how he used it to hit Kosovo and Albin Kurti more than Serbia, which is the aggressor.
"I was impressed by three things from Rama's speech. First, we had a Parliament that had gathered to issue a resolution to condemn Serbia. Rama's speech condemned Kosovo and Albin Kurti and his critics in Kosovo. So even in a Parliament that gathers to attack Serbia, Rama uses it to attack the government of Kosovo and his critics in Kosovo. He devoted 1/3 of his speech to people who insult him on social networks. A man who controls almost everything in Albania will also control the facebook of those in Kosovo. This is how far the mania goes.
The second is the idea that Rama defended for a long time, why is KFOR needed in the north? He said many arguments, that KFOR is the liberator, etc. He did not answer, if KFOR is so good for Kosovo, then why does Serbia also want it in Kosovo? Rama is asking for exactly the same thing that the Serbian president wants. Either they have to accept that Rama is wrong, or that Vucic wants the good of Kosovo.
Third, he made a parallelism, which is historically ignorant, comparing Kosovo with Palestine and which is morally unjust. He told the fable he tells, that when he was Clinton he told me 'if you don't do it like Arafat you will end up like Palestine'. First, Kosovo is not like Palestine because it is a state. Second, if you look at the evidence of Clinton's missing agreement between Barak and Arafat, Clinton's advisers say themselves that it was not only the Palestinians' fault. Failure to reach an agreement was also the responsibility of the Israelis. So it's not as simple as Rama makes it out to be.
Rama repeats the idea that the association is fundamental, right now after Banjska, when even the international community has started to raise voices, that does it make sense to make an association to give to guys like Radojčič?", said Bushati, among other things.
