Today, the applications of three candidates who want to become part of the Special Prosecutor's Office at SPAK have been submitted.
It is learned that the first candidacy was submitted by the prosecutor Albert Kuliçi, after him by the prosecutor Olsi Dado and finally Kreshnik Ajazi.
Albert Kuliçi was a prosecutor in Vlora, while he is currently a prosecutor in Tirana. In 2019, explosives were planted in Kulic's car. At that time he was investigating the alienation of properties in Karaburun and Zvërnec.
Olsi Dado worked in the private sector and as a notary, before being appointed a prosecutor in the Pogradec Prosecutor's Office in 2008. In 2010, he was transferred to the Tirana Judicial District Prosecutor's Office, while from 2020 he was assigned to the General Prosecutor's Office as an assistant magistrate. , a transfer that was terminated on March 6, to begin a new command at SPAK.
Kreshnik Ajazi is a potential candidate to be part of the SPAK structure.
Recently, Ajazi has compressed his personal CV with successes in the crackdown on drug distribution in Elbasan, the crackdown on Laert Haxhiu's group and the wounded arrest of Nuredin Dumani or Henrik Hoxhaj, who then turned into collaborators of the prosecution.
While a year ago, prosecutor Kreshnik Ajazi showed interest in competing for the position of the head of the prosecutor's office in Tirana in front of Arenc Çela, but his candidacy was excluded, because he had not yet completed his 3-year mandate as head of the prosecutor's office. of Elbasan and was not appointed as an internal prosecutor at the Tirana prosecutor's office.
SPAK was initially formed in December 2019. Prosecutors are expected to reveal their strategy of how they will fight corruption and organized crime. With the selection of 3 new names, the ranks of SPAK go to 20 prosecutors.
The deadline for applications for three vacant positions in SPAK is Monday, October 16, 2023.
