A serious incident has been recorded in Ostren, Bulqiza.
Xhelal Mziu, DP candidate in the Dibra District, punched an employee of the Kalosh Murra administrative unit.
The employee of the Kalosh Murra unit holds the position of economic assistance manager.
According to sources, it is learned that the incident occurred after the meeting of the Gollobordë DP electoral headquarters.
"Murra was at the door of the administrative unit's offices when Xhelal Mziu broke away from the group and ran, punching the employee," said witnesses at the scene.
The incident occurred outside the unit's premises, and it is reported that the investigation has been transferred to SPAK.
The police have also reacted to the incident.
"The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Bulqiza Police Commissariat referred the materials to SPAK, for the criminal offense "Threat or violence against election participants", for citizens Xh. M., 58 years old and EM, 36 years old, uncle and nephew, both residents of Tirana, because at around 1:00 PM on 24.04.2025, after an electoral meeting held by the political entity "Democratic Party", in the village of Ostren, they are suspected of punching citizen KM, 33 years old, resident of Shupenza, in the outdoor premises of the Ostren administrative unit", the police informed today.
