Journalist Eraldo Harlicaj commented on the murder of Roan Brahimi's father, Gjovalin Prendit, a few days ago.
While he was part of the guests on "Top Story", the journalist revealed more details about the assassination, saying that 4 people participated in the murder of Gjovalin Prendit. According to him, the perpetrators of the crime were well acquainted with the area, adding that the crime was local.
Regarding the origins of the conflicts between families, Harlicaj revealed the intimate connection of Roan Brahimi that led to the chain of murders, as well as the latter's clash with crime figures.
"An hour ago they were in a meeting analyzing the evidence that was found. It has been confirmed that 4 people participated in the murder of Gjovalin Prendi, there were two shooters. It is not considered that they were unprepared, only one person shot. At the moment the car was burned, there was a person who waited for them and transported them by car. There were no cameras in the area and the terrain had been studied. It is a local crime and the people who participated in this knew the area and the family. Gjovalin has had health problems recently. There was an assassination in 2021, so it was known, it was expected.
Being from the north myself, it is difficult for families to forgive each other. One of the leads that the police are investigating is an assassination attempt that occurred in 2014, for a girl. It was Roan Brahimi in his 20s, he was in a relationship with a woman. After this conflict there was an assassination attempt and from that moment the families have been at enmity.
"Roan Brahimi is said to have had a broad 'background' to the clash. It is rumored that he participated in the assassination attempt on Brilant Martinaj," the journalist said.
