Criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço says that Muhamet Rrumbullaku has not resigned from the position of General Director of the State Police, as there is still no document proving this.
In an interview for "Special Report", Karamuço said that Rrumbullaku may have been relieved of his duties.
According to Karamuço, a re-energization is needed in the ranks of the State Police.
"I do not know that the General Director of the State Police has resigned, I have not seen an official copy of his resignation. He may have been relieved of his duties. I've been hearing this for days. In two cases, I think the procedure for him to be fired has been reversed. Mr. Rrumbullaku has had both good and bad things in the work he has done. It was a normal process that came as a result of the adoption of the new law on the State Police, which dictated a reflection of the entire police force, in terms of the command hierarchy and the new criteria that were foreseen for it. It was about 36 days that the Minister of the Interior he wasn't feeling it, that made you wonder. I was told that he was preparing big changes. Strong statements should not be made, names are not mentioned. They are deficiencies, phenomena carried over years of the State Police that must be changed, must be re-energized", he emphasized.
