Activist Evi Kokalari has stated that she reported to the FBI a friend of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, after receiving death threats from him.
She said that a friend and admirer of Berisha had threatened to kill her, after she had told him that she did not share the same opinion as him about Berisha.
Kokalari added that considering that the person in question had the necessary capacities to do such a thing, she turned to the FBI and denounced him.
“ Ah, remind me to tell you about a friend of ours, actually more of yours, who actually tried to scare me on the way because I told him that you could be an idol for them, not necessarily for me. I reported it to the FBI as I had witnesses, because as an American, I have no reason to leave myself exposed to people who not only threaten my life but also have the capacity to do so", says Kokalari.
