The Special Prosecution Office SPAK is investigating 39 reports of electoral crimes, of which 17 reports have been sent to the police for verification, while for 25 reports it was decided not to initiate an investigation.
SPAK announces that there are 156 materials administered, among which 39 criminal proceedings have been registered. Of the registered criminal proceedings: 21 were initiated based on referrals from the State Police. 1 was referred by the Internal Control Service of Prisons. 8 were initiated mainly by SPAK.
3 came as a result of reports from various citizens, 3 were referred by the District Prosecutors' Offices and 3 others were based on reports from political entities.
"156 materials administered, 39 reporting materials have passed to the investigation phase (have been registered as criminal proceedings). 25 are decisions not to initiate a criminal investigation. 24 reporting materials have been sent for competence to the prosecutors of the judicial districts. 17 materials have been sent for verification to the Local Police Directorate. (for additional information or for carrying out initial actions). 1 material has been merged with another existing case. The remaining part is in the verification process", SPAK announced.
