The Supreme Court did not accept the appeals made by Fredi Beleri. The elected mayor of Himare has been trying for 3 months to get out of his cell, but it seems that this is not going to happen.
A few days ago, SPAK sent the file for trial and the court accepted it, while Fredi Beleri had earlier made two appeals to the Supreme Court. But today the court has announced that it has not accepted his appeals and now Blair will face the trial.
There are two recourses. In one of them, the elected mayor of Himara demanded the illegal evaluation of the arrest in flagrante delicto. In the other recourse, Beleri sought to declare illegal the wiretapping conducted by the Prosecutor's Office of Vlora for allowing the secret photographic, audio and video surveillance of the infiltrated person. But the court has dealt a blow to him and Athens. Like GJKKO and Special Appeal, the Supreme Court has also rejected the pressures of the Greeks.
Fredi Beleri was arrested for the May 14 elections. Special investigative actions revealed that on the eve of the voting day, he was involved in the vote buying scheme.
The money was paid by his associate to the citizen who was told that for this work he would be rewarded with 300 euros and the court has so far refused Beler's request to swear and to leave the cell.
On July 15, Beleri lost his battle with Albanian justice to leave his cell. The Supreme Court overthrew Fredi Beleri, leaving in effect the prison sentence given by the Special Court of Appeal.
Other courts have dismissed his request to be released several times, while for the first time this security measure will be examined in the Supreme Court.

His arrest has provoked the reaction of Athens, which insistently demands his release, stating that his arrest has political connections.
