One of the citizens who spoke to the protesters stated that after 13 years in power, the government must be held accountable for, according to him, failures and corrupt affairs.
The protester called on citizens to stay united, while also addressing Albanians living abroad, inviting them to consider returning to Albania.
"For the 40th day we say: arrest Balluk, resign. The end has come. In 13 years we know all your failures. Europe has always taken our best. Every Albanian should think about returning to their homeland, this is our land," he said.
Following his speech, he accused political leaders of corruption and demanded that they be held accountable before the courts.
"We cannot allow a corrupt prime minister and a corrupt former prime minister to continue. Rama in prison, Berisha in prison," he continued.
At the end of the speech, the protester addressed Prime Minister Rama directly with an appeal for his resignation.
"Don't make the gangster the prime minister, because you can never be strong with the people. With this beautiful and wonderful people. Rama resigns, because if he doesn't, we will remove him. This is our house, we decide," the citizen said.
