The waste collection point in Vlora was burnt during the night. Due to the strong wind, the intervention of the fire brigade has become impossible.

The first hours of the morning have recorded the arrival of the effectives, including the heavy vehicles, while the smoke has made the work difficult, even though the vehicles continue to deposit the waste there. This waste collection point should have been closed to implement a KFV project, but the investigation by SPAK of the company that has the concession for the landfill and the breaking of the agreement by the municipality with the enterprise, has caused the issue to remain pending.

So far, 98% of the works have been completed in the landfill and the government has appointed another company for the completion. Even in June, this area was engulfed in flames.

Now, for Bablok and those behind him who brag every day about tourism, we are reminding them that Vlora has been drowned today by the burning of the waste point, and there is not a 'grain' of tourists left that can breathe.
