
Afrim Bunjaku, the policeman who was brutally killed yesterday by the Serbs, has been honored in Albania as well. He was brutally shot in the line of duty by Serbian gangs. In Kosovo today, he was escorted to his last residence with a ceremony, while tributes were held in several cities in our country.
At 19.00, hundreds of citizens gathered at "Mother Teresa" square in Tirana where they lit candles in his honor. Famous figures were seen there, honoring the hero of Kosovo. Also, the KLA flag was not missing. Also present was Arben Malaj, who will soon assume the position of ambassador to Kosovo.
" He is the hero who made everyone proud. Today we are in mourning just like the state of Kosovo for this serious event that happened. We express our condolences to the family and thank the state of Kosovo for managing this serious event ," he said.

There were also tributes in Durrës. A group of young people, part of the Red and Black Fans, members of opposition political parties and civil society, lit candles and sent messages in honor of the fallen police officer, Afrim Bunjaku.
"Glory to the hero Afrim Bunjaku", "Blood is not forgiven" were some of the messages written on the banners carried by the participants who appreciated the role and sacrifice of the policeman killed in the line of duty, to protect the sovereignty of Kosovo.
" We have gathered today to pay tribute to the hero and to tell anyone who touches our territory that he will receive the deserved response ", said one of the young people.
