
A 42-year-old man was put in handcuffs by the Tirana police this Monday, after he destroyed the parking beam of a hotel, resisted the police officers and damaged their vehicle, while they tried to neutralize him.
"Services of Police Station No. 1, following the work to guarantee order and security in the territory, today, around 02:20, after receiving the notification that on "Abdi Toptani" street, a citizen had damaged the parking beam of a hotel and was committing violent actions, they immediately went to the given address, to clarify the circumstances of the case and to accompany the suspected author".
"Police services, having just gone to this address, found the citizen A. Ll., 42 years old, a resident of Tirana, who during the escort violently opposed the police officers and damaged their vehicle. Following the procedural actions, he was arrested in flagrante delicto and the materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions", the police said in a press release.
