Ervis Iljazaj, political science lecturer, invited to the News24 studio, analyzed what happened yesterday in the Parliament, with the clash between the opposition deputies and the guards.
He stated that the radicalization of the opposition's action, if not followed by the radicalization of the citizen's action, could turn into a boomerang.
Iljazaj added that such protests have been seen in 34 years and failed to produce results, while he said that if the opposition wants to fulfill its objectives, there should be at least an alliance with the citizens or the international ones.
"There is value when the action of the citizens is radicalized, not of the deputies. When the stance of the opposition MPs is radicalized and this is not followed by the citizens, it can turn into a boomerang.
The opposition has all the opportunities and causes to protest, but under a political battle, there are 3 "arbiters", the legal court, the civil court and the international "court". The majority is encouraging everyone, leading law enforcement, radicalizing decisions to exclusion, for example, the 60-day sentence is a radicalized decision, especially since it is a unilaterally approved regulation with only one party. Rama is interested in what is happening because it will contrast him with the majority of Albanian citizens.
Two are more important entities than the government, the people and the internationals. You must have one of the two, at a minimum, to achieve the objectives. We are used to these scenarios and they have not led to the realization of any objectives in 34 years. The opposition should seek an alliance with citizens and internationals", he said.
Regarding the visit of the British diplomats to the headquarters of the DP, Iljazaj said that it should be clear that the internationals have no problem with the opposition as a whole, but only with the head of the DP in particular.
"A myth has been created about Rama as one invincible and all-powerful who has 'captured' all the internationals", said Iljazaj.
