Analyst Arion Sulo spoke about the chaos and situation caused by the opposition in the Assembly.
Invited to the show "Open" on News24, the analyst said that violence is unacceptable, but this is the only way for the opposition, while adding that the life of parliamentarism is over. Among other things, he said that Prime Minister Edi Rama has turned Parliament into a second-rate institution, an appendage of the government.
"This is the only path that the opposition has. The violence is unacceptable, but it was symbolic, the goal is to block. There is no other way, Parliament has lost its function. With the assumption of power by Rama, there is no interpellation. There is no questioning with Rama. The good and the bad Berisha came into question. The opposition MPs ask for interpellation and they do not come. Rama does not want news, he has turned the Parliament into a second-rate institution, he sees them as scraps, restaurants. Parliamentarism has fallen, it has fallen, it has closed. These are absurd. Why? That the Parliament has broken into an annex of the government. There are 8 commissions since 2021 and none have been approved, except for the incinerators, as they fell asleep. He closed the Parliament on purpose", said the analyst Sulo.
