The founder of the Mane Foundation, Samir Mane, and the representative of Fundjava Ndryshe, Eni Demirxhiu, met with people from this community and their families at the “Loro Boriçi” stadium in Shkodra to donate the wheelchairs.
Samir Mane emphasized that " The Mane Foundation is committed to ensuring that no paraplegic or tetraplegic is left without a wheelchair, as a tool that gives these people independence. Our efforts continue to ensure a life of dignity and integration into society for everyone ."

The representative of Endjavës Ndryshe, Eni Demirxhiu said: " Our mission will continue in other cities where we have not yet been to equip every paraplegic and tetraplegic in Albania with a wheelchair. This is a joint promise of us and the Mane Foundation ."
The ceremony to equip people from the entire region with wheelchairs was also welcomed by representatives of local government and social services. The Mayor of Shkodra, Benet Beci, stated that… Taking inspiration from this project, our objective is to transform the city of Shkodra into a barrier-free space for all citizens.”

This project is a good example of how organizational initiatives can be combined with the daily work of central or local structures, for the benefit of long-term impact on different social categories.
On behalf of the Shkodra branch of the Para-Tetraplegics Association, Sajmir Beqiri expressed his gratitude for the care shown. He thanked both foundations that today distributed free wheelchairs in Shkodra as well.

The assessment given by the attendees shows that such initiatives are considered vital contributions to people's well-being and inclusion in society. The Mane Foundation continues to collaborate with institutions, partners and volunteers to bring about a future where care and dignity are possible for all.
