But the Rrajat filmed the barbaric attack to make an example to the entire area and it was only when the videos were leaked via Whatsapp and released to the media that the police reacted by making arrests under political pressure.

Në video, po ashtu duket edhe djali i deputetit, Rexhepi që qëllon me shkop bejsbolli një prej personave të shtrirë në tokë. Të dy nuk u arrestuan, por u shpallën në kërkim.
Në prezantimin që bëri para policëve, Ministri i ri i Brendshëm, Taulant Balla dha një mesazh të dyfishtë. Ai tha se vëllai dhe djali i deputetit duhet të arrestoheshin, por në të njëjtën kohë u tha policëvve se Rrahman Rrajën e kishte mik.
“Kërkesa ime e parë ishte ndalimi sa më pare i vëllait dhe i djalit të deputetit të Fushë-Krujës, i cili është miku dhe ish-kolegu im, Rrahman Rraja” u tha Balla policëve.
