
The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, participated in the Interpol European Conference held today in Tirana.
During his speech, Balla said that Albania remains committed to the fight against organized crime and corruption. Balla also said that the real challenge of the Police is to find the guilty persons and bring them to justice.
According to Balla, the results achieved by the State Police have made it among the most trusted institutions in Albania.
"Albania remains very committed to the fight against organized crime, corruption and narcotics. We have undertaken a reform in the justice system, to strengthen the rule of law in institutions, and we have started to collect all the good results.
We have started collecting all the good results. The fight we have is to find the people who are guilty and bring them to justice. Albania will remain ready for cooperation. These results have made the State Police among the most trusted institutions in the country ," said Balla.
