Strong calls against the political class were heard this Monday from "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard, where the 16th protest against Prime Minister Edi Rama is taking place.
One of the protesters spoke to the crowd gathered in the center of the capital, demanding not only the resignation of the prime minister, but also the investigation and confiscation of the assets of key political figures who, according to him, have benefited at the expense of citizens.
"Confiscation of assets for Rama and Berisha. These scoundrels have deceived us and stolen from us. Let them all come from abroad. Hold on for a few days. I promise you that we will destroy it together with the criminal gang. Don't give up. They took our beaches, territories, schools, hospitals. What is left for us, brothers? Rama, resign! This job is not won by long! Resign," he declared.
The protester's speech was accompanied by applause and calls of support from some of those present, while slogans against the government and demands for political change continued on the boulevard.
