Artan Hoxha spoke about the affair with the contract known as "sterilization", worth 100 million euros, which has been used up to 80%.
In an interview for the show "The Unexposed", Hoxha gave some details from the investigations carried out by SPAK, where it seems that the accusation of corruption was avoided, while he explained that the court asked the prosecutor for an in-depth investigation of the two former ministers Ilir Beqja and Shkëlzim Cani .
He added that there was an interest in this affair not being investigated further, but the Court has ordered an in-depth investigation regarding the manner in which the sterilization concession was granted.
" This is one of the concessions that may have been investigated longer and more than all the others. Albania has had 220 concessions and PPPs worth 4.3 billion euros.
Sterilization was first investigated and the case dismissed. He was investigated a second time and again dismissed. When it resumed for the last time, it stands out, at the moment when the arrest warrant was announced for Rrjepaj and Rrapaj, the fact that we have no accusation of active or passive corruption stands out.
We are dealing with the accusation of falsification of documents, abuse of office. So, the accusation that puts a high-level leader against the wall has been avoided. Mr. Kondili was one of the three candidates for the head of SPAK and Mr. Dumani was elected, who gave another margin to SPAK.
