Other details continue to come to light from the SPAK file on the issue of the privatization of the former Partizani complex, which led to the imprisonment of Jamarbër Malltez and the appointment of the measure 'obligation to appear' for former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and entrepreneur Fatmir Bektashi.
The file also contains the testimony of Isa Taras, the former director of the Partizani multi-sport club from 1995-2005, for whom SPAK states that he was fired when Berisha came to power.
It is also clarified in the file that the owners of the land were compensated by the Italians before.
"On 21.12.2022, the citizen Isa Tare was questioned, who stated that he was the director of the Partizani Multisport Club from 1995-2005, around the months of April and May. He was also an inspector for basic sports and a sportsman of the Partizani Sports Club from 1958-2005. During the time he was director, he was paid by the Ministry of Defense, and had 55 employees. The football team was affiliated with the Italians and became dependent on the Italians. I believe that this dependence was created from 1989. Then the Football Club became a joint-stock company with president Bert Xhani. So the funding was removed from the Ministry of Defense and Bert Xhani did the funding privately. Part of the Partizani multi-sports club was also the swimming pool located in Laprakë, right next to the Ministry of Defense car park. The file also contains the testimony of Afrim Tole, director of the Partizani Multisport Club, in the years 2006-2008.
