SPAK prosecutors, led by Altin Dumanin, have ended their one-week visit to the USA. They have had important meetings in many institutions, where they have been instructed and trained to go to the untouchables. The US Embassy announces that the last meeting they held was with the DEA, where they talked about cocaine trafficking and the fight against gangs.
Also, Altin Dumani met with the Coordinator of the State Department for Global Anti-Corruption, Richard Nephew. He is the person in charge of the US blacklist. So he decides on the names that are sanctioned and is also the person who has undertaken to implement the anti-corruption strategy approved by President Biden.
" Senior SPAK officials concluded their study visit to Washington DC this week along with team members from the Embassy's Office of Overseas Prosecutorial Development, Assistance and Training (OPDAT). Head of SPAK Altin Dumani and members of the delegation met with Deputy Assistant Attorney General and Counselor for International Affairs Bruce C. Swartz, as well as State Department Coordinator for Global Anti-Corruption Richard Nephew. The delegation also met with the Special Operations Unit of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) , the embassy announced.
