The chairman of LZHK, Dashamir Shehi, spoke about the rejection of the request of small parties for the lists opened by the Constitutional Court.
Shehi described the decision as politically influenced. He added that with this decision, Albanian democracy lost a chance while the court lost the chance to show that it is not politically influenced.
"I was expecting a favorable decision, but we are in that group that accepts the decisions of the courts. My opinion is that a great chance for Albanian democracy is lost, not for small parties, all Albanians lost a chance. Second, we as the complaining party missed a practical opportunity to make a joint list. Third, the court lost a chance to show itself independent from the political environment, but we will respect the court's decision" , Shehi told "Euronews Albania".
