Strong earthquake tremors in Korça

Several seismic tremors were recorded this evening in the Korça region. According to official data from the Institute of Geosciences, the earthquake occurred at around 19:50 and had an epicenter in the Hoçisht-Bilisht-Korça area.

The maximum magnitude of the tremors was recorded at 4.1, while their depth was between 5 and 15 kilometers, which caused the tremors to be felt in several surrounding areas.

There are no reports of material damage or injuries at this time. Authorities say the situation is being monitored and any new information will be made public if there are further developments.
