In the 26th protest organized to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the removal of the government, a pensioner expressed his dissatisfaction with the economic situation and governance.
In a statement to "News 24", he said that he had come out to protest because of the difficulties faced by citizens.
"We are protesting against an anti-Albanian who has only stolen. He has not left children and the elderly without offending them. At '5 Maji', old women were dragged away, in Rrjoll as well. He has only destroyed this country ," the pensioner said.
The citizen also focused on the level of pensions, saying that the income of the elderly is not enough to cover daily expenses.
"With a ridiculous pension, can this guy afford 100 thousand lek? God bless his race ," he declared.
Citizens have gathered in Skanderbeg Square and have been demanding the resignation of the prime minister and the removal of the government for 26 days. Other critical reactions to the economic and political situation in the country were also heard at the rally.
