The wife of the former deputy of the Democratic Party Gerti Bogdani, Edlira Çepani, has reacted to the separation from her husband's life.
Gerti Bogdani passed away at noon today at the age of 44 due to a cardiac arrest.
Through a post on her Facebook profile, Çepani announces the untimely loss of her husband and the father of her children while writing that the farewell ceremony will take place the next day in the Hall of Plenary Sessions in the Assembly.
"With deep sadness, we announce the untimely loss of father, husband, son, brother Gerti Bogdani. We announce that the tributes and the farewell ceremony will take place the following day. September 19, 2024, in the Hall of Plenary Sessions of the Parliament of Albania, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and the burial will take place afterwards in the Sharra cemetery ," Çepani said.
The former deputy of the Democratic Party suffered a cardiac arrest while drinking coffee in the premises of the "Rogner" hotel on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" street.
Many politicians have expressed condolences for his sudden death. The opposition colleagues expressed their shock at the premature departure.
