Three people, including two former officials of the Police Supervision Agency (AMP), have been placed under security measures as part of a criminal proceeding being investigated by the Elbasan Prosecutor's Office.
The Police Supervision Agency announced that the measures imposed by the court have been executed against Glodian Ahmetaj, former director of the Southeast AMP Branch , Devis Agos , former head of the AMP sector, and Klevis Hoxha, who is suspected of having family ties to one of them.
According to the court decision, Glodian Ahmetaj has been ordered to submit his travel documents to the Judicial Police.
Meanwhile, Klevis Hoxha has been placed under the measures of "Reporting to the Judicial Police" and "Prohibition on leaving the country", with the obligation to report to the authorities once a month. The measure of "Reporting to the Judicial Police" has also been imposed on Devis Agos.
During the operation, searches were also conducted in three apartments, with the aim of finding and seizing evidence that could assist the investigation.
AMP announced that all obligations determined by the court have been executed, while investigations into the case continue under the direction of the Elbasan Prosecutor's Office.
"In accordance with the court decision, the security measure "Prohibition of leaving the country" has been imposed on citizen Glodian Gëzim Ahmetaj, ordering him not to leave the territory of the Republic of Albania and to submit to the Judicial Police the valid documents that serve to cross the state border.
Citizen Klevis Hoxha has been ordered to report to the Judicial Police and to be banned from leaving the country. He is required to report to the Judicial Police on the first week of each month, on Monday, at 11:00, and to submit his travel documents as stipulated in the court decision.
Citizen Devis Ago has been ordered to report to the Judicial Police, with the obligation to report on the first week of each month, on Monday, at 12:00.
During the operation, all obligations determined by the court were executed, while by order of the proceeding authority, three house searches were also conducted with the aim of searching for and administering evidence of interest to the investigation.
Citizens Glodian Ahmetaj, former Branch Director at the Police Supervision Agency, and Devis Ramadan Ago, former Head of Sector at AMP, are subject to this criminal proceeding and security measures imposed by the court," the AMP statement said.
