The businessman Behxhet Pacolli has sued Arian Currin after several statements of the latter regarding the case of the murder of Liridona Ademi by her husband Naim Murseli.
The analyst has received a summons from the Court of First Instance of Tirana that he must appear at the court session on October 10.
Pacolli accuses Curri of the criminal offenses of "Insult" and "Defamation".
Asked by Top Channel about the subpoena, Curri said that there was never any insult or defamation in his statements.
The analyst has ironized the situation, saying that "instead of being interested in clarifying the motives of the murder of the mother of the children whose hair he cut as a godfather, he invests in trials against journalists and free speech in the media".
"I will appear in court myself on the appointed date. I received the notice from the media, which reported that Bexheti requested my prison sentence.
As a builder and businessman of the Kremlin, Bexhet the victim thinks that in Albania, just like in Russia, journalists are imprisoned for their opinions.
In my statements, there was never any defamation or insult to anyone. If Bexhet the victim speaks a different Albanian than mine, this is not my problem.
