Andi Bushati says that the change in the Electoral Code, which practically closes the electoral lists, making the winning seats exclusive to the president, is a "dirty pact", which strengthens the positions of Rama in the government and Berisha in the DP, but damages the opposition.
Invited to the show "The Unexposed", Bushati called the agreement "murderous" for the opposition.
"This is a bargain and the choice the opposition has made is the most murderous. It has made the choice to say to Rama, you keep the power, we calcify Saliu as the leader of the opposition. But, saying this and denouncing this dirty pact, I must say that this is only the visible and smaller side of the iceberg.
I want to start with the example set by Arlind Qori, since I am also his voter. Would we imagine it? for the party to produce someone like Jeremy Corbyn from its ranks and the people to elect him? There is no possibility, because we do not have a democratic system that guarantees elections. But this is not the problem of the Albanians. The problem is that we have a closed government that we saw in Congress. The people who make the decisions for us are Edi Rama's lackeys. We don't know why the minister of interior, finance, etc. left ," said Bushati.
