Residents of the area around the new Thumanë-Kashar axis protested again today, as they demand access to the newly inaugurated highway. Protesters have blocked traffic for vehicles and clashed with police officers.
It is also learned that the authorities have used fire spray against the protesters, while a barbed wire has also been placed to prevent blocking the axis.
Although the clashes with the police have not stopped, the latter have managed to ensure the circulation of some vehicles.
However, this did not stop the protesters, who with banners in their hands continued their march along the axis, while they also called for ensuring their access to the road.
" We call on the state to pave the way for us and pay it. We have been deprived of our livelihood. If they want to take away this way from us and deal with drugs... we are not for this business. We have only one request, to open the road for us and pay for it ", said one of the protesters.
