During the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, there was a debate between analysts Andi Bushati and Ergys Mërtiri, regarding the decreeing of elections in Tirana by President Begaj, following the dismissal of Erion Veliaj.
Mërtiri stated that the debate taking place on this issue is fabricated by the opposition and people close to it, as the opposition seeks to protect Veliaj and does not want elections. While Bushati stated that the President is a tool of Rama.
Ergys Mërtiri : This is a fabricated debate and the whole nation has become a lawyer. Veliaj has an interest in this debate because he will be defended. Here, Veliaj is being defended by Berisha and his people.
Andi Bushati : Luli's people have come out with Begaj... Better with Luli and Begaj...
Ergys Mërtiri : Luli has left in his pajamas. There is no need to raise this storm over a matter of interpretation. The opposition is partnering with Veliaj against SPAK. And secondly, they are afraid of the elections. If he enters, he will lose. The opposition has become ridiculous because it is starting a war with Begaj, yesterday it started a war with Diella.
Andi Bushati : And here's where the opposition comes in, I agree they are idiots, but what do you think about Begaj and this debate?
Ergys Mërtiri : I think this debate is irrelevant.

Ergys Mërtiri : The reason why this debate is taking place is political. The opposition's need to avoid entering the elections and to protect Veliaj.
Andi Bushati : Okay, but should Begaj do it or not?
Ergys Mërtiri : Begaj is simply an official who judges as he judges.
Andi Bushati : Begaj is Rama's instrument, all of Albania knows it, but he doesn't even know this...
Ergys Mërtiri : Whether we say it is or not Zar Begaj, I did not come for this. In these cases, does Zar have a legal right? What I am saying has two interpretations, Veliaj's dismissal is a Constitutional or administrative issue, if it is Constitutional, Veliaj is right, if it is administrative, Begaj is right. These are not black and white issues, they are colored, frequency.
Andi Bushati : I can say it's daylight now.
Ergys Mërtiri : When it is dusk, someone can say it is day and someone night. So there is an interpretation. The issue is here, Bajram Begaj says the dismissal of Veliaj does not fall under Article 115 of the Constitution, which is for check and balance, to remove power from Rama's hands. But the law does not take into account who brought it. When the proposal is made by the Municipal Council, the control is made by the Municipal Council and the dismissal of the government is accompanied by the decision of the Municipal Council.
Andi Bushati: Tell me the conclusion. What I came here for because I don't know what to say is monumental...
Ergys Mërtiri : This is a broader issue, not just literal interpretation, but separation of powers.
