The citizens of Vlora have moved to the main road, blocking traffic. They are protesting after the city has not been supplied with water for 4 days due to a defect in the main line.
Citizens are requesting the presence of Mayor Brunilda Mersini, who was told that she is at the location of the defect.
At around 11:00, they blocked one of the city's road axes, after their previous attempt to enter the municipality premises failed, where they were stopped by law enforcement.
With empty water cans in their hands, the people of Vlora threw toilet paper and eggs towards the city hall building, while some of them then moved to one of the city streets, blocking traffic.
A defect caused in the main transmission line in the main pipe that supplies the city's warehouses, with a diameter of 1000 millimeters, has left Vlora without water, while specialists have not yet been able to repair it.
