Why has the police not made public anything about the fate of Ervis Martinaj? This is the question that has been raised for more than a year and a half.
In the studio of "Albania Live" we talked about the wanted persons who have not been caught for many years.
One of them is Ervis Martinaj, where according to the lawyer Redi Ramaj, the State Police has not provided any investigation leads. Even according to him, the police is not ready to organize a genuine war against wanted individuals.
" It was said many times by the authorities that they gave the State Police a deadline to find or close this as a story if he is alive or dead and even today as we speak we do not know and the State Police is not giving any answers. So, at a minimum, it does not say any investigative track or any variant where the police themselves can be oriented or directed, but the investigation of journalists is needed to find some individuals and normally, as I said, since they are limping from the institutions themselves and the State Police, I think that at this stage it is unable to carry out or organize a real war against these individuals, therefore we have the highest number of wanted and we have occasional discussions of characters who are lost and not found. "Always after they get lost and are declared wanted by Albania, we understand that they crossed the borders by car, by normal means or by plane, they flee to another country and there they get asylum ," he said.
