Journalist Julian Kasapi has shown how easy it is in Albania to fall prey to blackmail and threats from different people on social networks.
According to him, there is also a lack of police initiative to identify these persons who appear in social networks
" In recent years, this world of the Internet seems to me as if no one has privacy. Blackmailers, threats, pedophiles and every category of these people has managed to have it easier by hiding behind the screen, usually in Albania, and what is more serious, is that Albania is not prepared to face this phenomenon. What I don't understand is how they are left aside. I understand that there should be a report, you should go to the police, but the police surround you, tell you to get out of here and go there. I understand you have to fill out those forms, but sometimes it has to be the initiative of the police to identify these people, at the end of the day they are self-identified, they come out with a picture, a voice. The police don't have a file. "- said Kasapi in "Wake Up".
