The bad weather that has swept the country has caused problems on several road axes, mainly in the southeastern area.
In the Libonik–Rëmbec–Plasë and Korçë–Voskopojë segments , rainfall has been followed by snowfall. Maintenance structures are on the ground, where they are cleaning and salting the roads, while traffic continues normally for vehicles equipped with winter tires.
Problems have also been noted on the Maliq–Kufi Gramsh axis , where overnight rainfall has caused two streams of inert material to flow onto the road. Work is underway to completely clean the segment. Meanwhile, snowfall in this area has begun without creating any traffic difficulties.
Snowfall was also recorded on the Ersekë-Tre Urat axis , but without affecting vehicle movement.
On the Korçë–Ersekë, Zemblak–Goricë and Bilisht–Miras axes , precipitation is occurring with low and medium intensity. Maintenance teams continue their work on cleaning and salting, with no reports of traffic problems.
Two snowplows are operating on the Boboshtica-Dardhe (Podgorica Lapidary) intersection to ensure traffic flow. Authorities recommend that drivers in this area only use winter tires.
