
Storms are expected in some areas, while snow returns to mountainous areas.
Albania will continue to be affected by unstable weather conditions on Tuesday, April 21, according to the forecast of the Military Meteorological Service.
The weather is forecast to be partly cloudy throughout the territory. Rainfall will begin in the morning hours in the northern and central areas, with low intensity, to gradually spread throughout the country during the day.
In the afternoon and evening hours, especially in the northwest and west, rainfall is expected to increase to moderate intensity. According to the data, in some cases they will be accompanied by thunderstorms, electrical discharges and locally even hail.
In mountainous areas, mainly in the Alps and high reliefs, low-intensity snowfall is expected.
Minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to range from 8°C in mountainous areas to 24°C in warmer areas such as Berat and Fier. In Tirana and Durrës, maximum temperatures will reach around 22°C, while in Korça and Gjirokastër they will be lower, around 18°C and 22°C, respectively.


The wind will blow from the southeast to southwest, with an average speed of about 6 m/s. In coastal and valley areas, it is expected to strengthen from time to time to 14 m/s.
Regarding sea conditions, waves in the Adriatic and Ionian Seas are expected to be force 2-3.
