On Sunday, our country is expected to be affected by relatively unstable weather conditions. According to the forecast of the Military Meteorological Service, the weather will be characterized by occasional clear skies and alternations of medium to dense cloudiness, more pronounced in the mountainous areas of the east.
Rainfall will be present during the first hours of the day until around noon in most of the territory. The intensity of precipitation is expected to be mainly low, while short-term storms are also expected in specific areas of the north and center.
After noon, precipitation will remain localized mainly in the mountainous reliefs of the north and east, with low intensity and in an isolated manner.
The wind will blow from the west at an average speed of about 7 m/s. On the coastline, valley areas and during the development of cloudiness, the wind is expected to gain speed up to 17 m/s.
Regarding sea conditions, waves in the Adriatic and Ionian Seas are expected to be force 3 to 4.
Minimum and maximum temperatures will range from 6°C in the northeastern areas to 19°C in the western lowlands and the coast. Cities such as Tirana, Saranda and Vlora will record maximum temperatures of up to 19°C, while Korça and Kukës are expected to have lower temperatures.
