Massive rock slides have been recorded on the Burrel-Skuraj national road after heavy rains hit the area. The situation has been created near sector C, where rocks have fallen from the mountain slope and ended up on the road.
For several hours, one side of the axis was blocked, while maintenance workers intervened to remove stones and clean the segment.
This axis often faces the same problem during periods of intense rainfall. Drivers report difficulties in traffic due to the presence of stones on the asphalt and damage to the road.
Police have urged drivers to be extra careful when driving through this section. According to them, the lack of signage and side guards increases the danger in the area.
Potholes on the road also remain problematic, which according to drivers make it more difficult to avoid rocks without leaving the lane. In some parts of the axis, a wrong maneuver can lead to Lake Shkopet.
