Heavy snowfall, some road axes in Mirdita are blocked

Since yesterday evening, the rain and snow have stopped in Lezha District. In the deep areas of Mirdita, such as in Fan, Orosh and Selitë units, the thickness has reached up to 40 cm, causing blockage of some road axes of the villages that connect them with the centers of the unit.

The Municipality of Mirdita has engaged workers and tools to open the roads, an operation that will continue today.

Meanwhile, during the night and morning of this Sunday, temperatures have reached -4 degrees, which have also brought frost.

Fortunately, there is a decrease in the intensity of the wind, when and today work will be done to repair the damage caused by the weather in the electricity network throughout the district, with the aim of restoring energy to the areas where it is missing.
